The GeoExplorer Geo XT 2005 Series is a high performance, submeter GPS receiver with a rugged handheld computer. Geo XT is optimized to provide reliable, high-accuracy location data. Ideal for managing assets or mapping critical infrastructure, the Geo XT provides accurate, up-to-date data to do the job. With EVEREST multipath rejection technology onboard, Geo XT delivers consistent submeter accuracy both real-time and post-processed, so you know your GIS has the information on which others can depend. Geo XT handheld has a 416 MHz processor running Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 software, which is the industry standard open platform for mobile devices, so you can choose a software solution to match your workflow. There's plenty of storage space for all your GIS data, and with a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot, you can add gigabytes of memory for all your maps. If you need to access the Internet or your organization's secure network to get the most up-to-date data, it's no problem, Geo XT has built-in wireless LAN and Bluetooth (approved in the U.S. and EU), so you can access information on-the-go. Using the built-in wireless LAN and TrimPix technology, Geo XT can connect to a range of WiFi-capable Nikon digital cameras for automated capture of digital images. Download the TrimPix software and you have an ideal solution for easily collecting high resolution digital photos to link to your GPS positions.
