PhoCheck is a highly sensitive patented photoionization detector (PID). With a dynamic detection range spanning 1 ppb up to 10,000 ppm (5000 model), PhoCheck is the first PID on the market able to embrace the detection of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) at low toxicity thresholds and high explosive limits. With new improved features, PhoCheck is a fully upgradeable instrument enabling you to upgrade from the PhoCheck 1000Ex version to the 5000Ex instrument. With increased memory capacity for data logging results every second and improved PC communication via IRDA technology the PhoCheck is the ideal PID for giving you truly traceable results.
The 2000Ex is ATEX-approved as intrinsically safe and has a detection range of 0.1 - 4,000 ppm. This model will log data and is equipped with a date/time stamp feature. With user set single point alarms and gas table of over 450 gases including their unique response factors the PhoCheck 2000Ex is equipped to detect a wide range of VOC's. Typical Gases detected include: VOCs; ammonia; benzene; ethylene; isobutanol; gasoline vapors; jet fuel; liquified petroleum gas; butane; acetaldehyde; and, some WMD's.
