The Basic Soil Sampling Kit is versatile and complete; it comes equipped with a 3 1/4-inch auger barrel and 5/8-inch quick-connect heat-treated pins. Basic sampling kits provide all the components needed to auger up to 12 feet below ground surface and then collect a virtually undisturbed soil core sample in a liner.
