The BUCK Libra Plus LP-20 air sampling pump is a good choice for a variety of applications in which personal exposure needs to be assessed; it is designed to draw an air sample through analytical media (i.e., cassettes, detector tubes, impingers) at a flow rate between 5 to 20 Liters per minute (L/min). The single diaphragm pump is encased in high-impact, anti-static Lexan material and proves to be a very quiet pump. The LCD display consists of 2 lines and shows the user flow rate, accumulated volume and elapsed time of the sample. It is also user-friendly, as you choose RUN for sampling and MENU to reset pumps from the main display. This pump is equipped with a patent-pending electronic circuit board that extends the life of the powerful Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) triple battery pack (4.8V, 6.45Ah) to ~30 hours (continuous use at 5 L/min). The keypad locking system is password protected for tamper-proof operation and tools are not needed to use and modify the pump.

The 5000Ex is ATEX-approved as intrinsically safe and has a detection range of 1 ppb - 10,000 ppm. This model logs data and is equipped with a date/time stamp feature and STEL/TWA values. With user set single point alarms and a gas table of over 450 gases, including their unique response factors, the PhoCheck 5000 is equipped to detect a wide range of VOC's. Typical gases detected include: VOCs; ammonia; benzene; ethylene; isobutanol; gasoline vapors; jet fuel; liquified petroleum gas; butane; acetaldehyde; and, some WMD's.

The MultiRAE is the latest model offered by RAE Systems (in the same family as the MultiRAE Lite and MultiRAE Pro). This newest and innovative model includes six sensor ports that can support a PID (Photoionization Detector) for the detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and over 30 different catalytic, NDIR or electrochemical sensors (combustibles, toxics, carbon dioxide and oxygen). These sensors are 'intelligent' and store calibration data for in-field swapping. All MultiRAE units are manufactured with a sampling pump (the MultiRAE Lite model has a diffusion option). They will have a wireless capability option in early 2012.
This instrument comes standard with O2, LEL, CO and H2S and has the largest display on the market for its class. It is equipped with a Man Down Alarm option for added security. The MultiRAE can be used as a personal monitor, a hand-held sniffer, or as a continuous operational area monitor (logs continuously for 6 months). This model includes an accessories kit with a hard transport case, and remote sampling probe with 10 feet of Teflon tubing.

The RAELink 3 Modem Kit is a wireless detection system that allows the user to integrate multiple RAE air and radiation monitoring instruments, as well as limited third-party devices into a host system. This host system links the instruments and tranmits sensor data and GPS coordinates (if applicable) to a remote computer, which can be located up to 2 miles from the site (this pertains to an urban setting; site conditions dictate distance). The command computer (PC) uses ProRAE Remote software to log and manage the data in a user-friendly intuitive format.
The RAELink 3 has Bluetooth capabilities and connects easily to Bluetooth-equipped monitors. These weatherproof and shock resistant modems are equipped with a backlit, easy-to-use display that also indicates radio strength. The RAELink 3 900 MHz modems have an intuitive interface that allows the user to configure in the field to a variety of instruments. These RAELink 3 Modem Kits can be configured as the host modem, the remote modem or as a repeater to establish line-of-sight.

The custom designed, weatherproof Environmental Enclosure protects the DustTrak II and DustTrak DRX Aerosol Monitor Models 8530, 8531, and 8533, TSI portable, battery-operated, laser photometers that measure and record airborne dust concentrations. This wind- and rain-proof environmental enclosure allows you to make the same accurate and precise measurements outdoors and in harsh industrial environments. The optional internal battery system includes two extended-life batteries, which allow 24-hour operation for long-term unattended sampling (this is a separate rental). The Environmental Enclosure comes with an omni-directional sampling inlet specifically designed to sample efficiently in a broad range of wind conditions. The inlet on the enclosure samples most efficiently from 0 to 22 mph. The enclosure can be mounted to a standard surveyor tripod (using a 5/8-inch thread).
