The KIR Interface Probe is a battery powered, portable reel-mounted instrument for providing measurements of both floating and sinking hydrocarbons (non-aqueous product layers). When the KIR Interface Probe is lowered down a well and contacts the product layer, a solid tone and red light alarm is activated at the reel. When the probe detects water, the tone begins to oscillate and the light changes to green. The 100-foot Tefzel-coated flat tape has a dog-bone design and is marked in engineering or metric increments. The 5/8-inch diameter probe is equipped with stainless steel conductors and stored on a rugged aluminum-framed polypropylene reel. It is safe for explosive environments.

The Hach 2100Q portable turbidity meter gives you lab quality results in a portable unit and meets EPA Method 180.1 design criteria. On-screen assisted calibration and verification save you time and ensure accuracy. With an easy-to-follow interface, manuals are not needed to perform routine calibrations. Single-standard RapidCal calibration offers a simplified solution for low level measurements. The Hach 2100Q Portable Turbidimeter incorporates an innovative Rapidly Settling Turbidity mode to provide accurate, repeatable measurements for difficult to measure, rapidly settling samples.

Data transfer with the 2100Q is simple, flexible, and doesn't require additional software when used with the optional USB + Power module (additional rental fees apply). All data can be transferred to the module and easily downloaded to your computer with a USB connection, providing superior data integrity and availability. Up to 500 measurements are automatically stored in the instrument for easy access and backup. The QUESTemp 34 is a rugged, easy to use, datalogging Thermal Environment Monitor. This monitor incorporates WBGT (Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature) sensing technology. The Solinst Model 102 Water Level Meter is designed to measure groundwater levels, especially in small diameter tubes and piezometers or where a flexible cable is needed to snake past an in-well pump. The cable has a heavy-duty jacket and stainless steel coaxial conductors for strength. Permanent markings are precisely laser etched on the cable every 1/100 feet. The Model 102 Water Level Meter uses a choice of two small diameter probe designs (either P1 or P2), attached to a narrow coaxial cable, fitted on a sturdy ergonomically designed reel. The cable jacket is of heavy-duty polyethylene for durability. It is powered by a standard 9 volt battery housed in an easy-access battery drawer.

When the probe enters water the electrical circuit is completed, sending a signal back to the reel where a light and clearly audible buzzer are activated. The water level is then determined by taking a reading directly from the cable at the top of the well casing or borehole. A sensitivity control allows the buzzer to be turned off while in cascading water, and ensures a clear signal in both high and low conductivity conditions.

Model 102 Probes are designed with segmented weights for flexibility. The Teflon(R) tip uses a recessed design to minimize false signals in cascading water.
P1 Stainless Steel Probe - 1/4-inch diameter x 1.5 inches long (6.4 mm x 38 mm) stainless steel with 12 weights, weighing 2.5 oz (70 g). It is ideal for accessing narrow diameters.

The water level meter is shipped with a small nylon padded carrying bag and tape guide.
