Soil sampling kits are used to collect shallow soils in lieu of drilling rigs. Applications include geotechnical, environmental and agricultural sampling. The kits consist of bucket augers, extension rods, cross handles and sampling accessories needed to obtain soils for classification and analysis. Soil sampling tools are available for the collection of saturated soils, sediments, sludges or wastes at the surface or below water. TRS-Environmental also carries a gas vapor probe, which is excellent for monitoring and sampling in the vicinity of pipelines, underground storage tanks (USTs) and hydrocarbon spill sites.
